The mystery of Michael’s itinerary is solved!

For several days it had been noted that Michael Polak was leaving the road traced by his predecessors to draw his own road, away. But why, what does he seek, we ask?
We finally have the answer to our interrogations in his last messages accompanied by superb images:
he chose to cross the Tibetan plateaus of central China amidst breathtaking landscapes.
Thanks to Michael for sharing these wonderful images!

Where are the suntripers still on the way?

All Sun Trip Solar cyclists entered China, the last to cross the border was Gregory Lewyllie. Today, the one that is closest to Guangzhou is undoubtedly Peter Helsen with 11300 km on the counter.
Then come, in order, Thierry Rassat, Françoise Denel the dean of the Sun Trip (a special bravo to her!), Michael Pole who at this moment borrows an original itinerary, Gregory Lewyllie and the last ones who roll together: Jean-Claude Viguier, Youssef El Haouass, Mohamed Saïd Jain, François Médalle and Gilles coural. We encourage them!

Souvenirs from Italy, Slovenia, Croatia and Serbia

In these images filmed in July, Anne-Sophie and Justin share with us the strong moments they experienced during their journey between Switzerland, Italy, Slovenia, Croatia and Serbia. What a joy these moments of life, like this musical picnic with Slovenians! We also see them on their amazing solar tandem, with Anne-Sophie pedaling while Justin rowing!

Daniel and Dirk arrived in Guangzhou!

Dirk Huyghe and Daniel Jenni arrived at Yuexiu Park in the sun of Guangzhou where they were greeted by Angélique and Cédric from the organisation team as well as by the Suntripers Jack Butler, Stéphane Bertrand and Paul Baudry.
Dirk and Daniel are 9th place of the Solar Challenge, their journey lasted 77 days. Having rolled together for several weeks, the complicity of the two Suntriperss was strongly felt upon arrival.

Dirk has travelled 14 000 km from Gent in Belgium and he probably broke the record of the greatest number of punctures: 45 during his trip!
Daniel has almost reached 13 000 km, with few punctures but with important technical problems that he has solved thanks to his talents of Tinkerer.
